Book Review: The Boy The mole The Fox The Horse

Image
This book is in cursive so make sure you know how to read cursive before you go looking for this book. It is very beautiful and has beautiful pictures. In the beginning and the end there’s like this song but it’s hard to play because their are drawings on the notes. I can write in cursive but it is hard to read in cursive. This book is helping me practice reading in cursive though. It's called The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, and The Horse  . It's by Charlie Mackesy

Red Carpet Film Premiere!!

Image
On the red carpet i wore some converse shoes. the boots are my mom’s. The rest of my clothes are a tuxedo but i wore converse because they are beautiful. I got my photo taken on the red carpet and got interviewed and asked questions and that’s pretty much all i did on the red carpet. Then i went into the theatre, got some popcorn, and then i went into the room where the movie happened. And i got a front row seat. And the night before that i’d been in the front row of an elvis costello concert so it was a good weekend.   **** GRAHAM IS IN A MOVIE! He needs a real manager because I'm just Mom and don't know how to do a proper press release, etc. But he's got a speaking role in Dark Waters , which comes out on the coasts on November 22 and theatres across America by Dec 6. I think it comes to Europe in January. It's already blowing up the Oscar blogs, and I can't WAIT to see where this leads Graham. He's so happy and watched the film in its entir...

Book Review: Wings of Fire

Image
Graham’s mom jumping in here to alert you  #spoileralert  bwahahaha — i guess we should work on Book Review etiquette :) ⠀ ⠀ Graham’s book review about Wings of Fire⠀ ⠀ This is me holding the book wings of fire. It’s the first one the dragonet prophecy. A dragonet is a baby or kid dragon. In the very last few pages of the EPILOGUE there was somebody who did something for somebody. Do you know what his gift was? Dying

Happy Pumpkin Season!

Image
Graham had a magical summer of travel and ice cream and extra love, all to make up for the fact that he lost his very best friend, his Grandude, earlier this year to a nasty and rare cancer. He wants to tell you all about it (the travels, not the cancer) as soon as possible. Make sure you're following over on Instagram . When he's not posting photos of books with charming self-written reviews (I swear), he's showing you snapshot of life through 7-year-old's eyes. One time his brother kissed an alligator. Another time he was in a rainstorm in Versailles.

Book review: Dragons Love Tacos

Image
grahamreads I really like this book. I have had this book for a long time. my favorite picture was when the dragons were entering the house for the taco party. I first heard Dragons Love Tacos at Carmichael’s kids for story time when i was two or maybe three. My little brother likes this book too. ⠀ ⠀ “as much as dragons love tacos they hate spicy salsa. why do dragons hate spicy salsa?well just one drop of hot sauce makes a Dragons ears smoke.just single speck of hot pepper makes a dragon snort sparks.if you want to make tacos for dragons keep the toppings mild.” Toppings for dragon tacos would be things like tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese.i like tacos a lot too. My daddy is from Texas, and he loves tacos even though he is not a dragon.⠀

Book Review: The Meatshower

Image
I read The Meatshower by Mick Sullivan and illustrated by Shae Goodlett and I really liked it. I wanted to post this video sooner but my Grandude died and my family had stuff to do. My Grandude and I read this book together though when the book first came out this spring and we laughed and laughed about it. Grandude liked meat but I am a vegetarian but I still really liked this book.  Follow me on instagram, please, I really like followers.

Book Review: Lambslide

Image
I read Lambslide by Ann Patchett and illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser. I think it is Ann Patchett’s first kids’ book (but we have her grownup books in our house), but Robin Preiss Glasser has drawn pictures for Fancy Nancy. I saw the play of Fancy Nancy last year in preschool. I loved the pictures in Lambslide and the story was really funny. The silly lambs think the Farmers are talking about them and they talk to all the animals on the farm and vote to build a slide for everyone to play on even though they call it a lambslide. I loved this book! I read it to my brother and he laughed and laughed The book comes out on May 7 from Harper Collins. My dad told me that the author will be at Parnassus Books in Nashville on May 6. I want to go, but I don’t get out of kindergarten until 3:45, and it takes 3 hours to drive to Nashville. Louisville friends and family, I bet they will have it at the library and carmichaels kids. x
